As a transfer student that lives off-campus, coming into UCSD was almost stressful. I knew that making friends was going to be one of the many challenges to come, so finding a group that I can truly feel a part of was one of my goals. That is where PhiDE comes in... Never have I ever been a part of a group that shared the same goals and aspirations as I. These people never fail and continue to push me to be the best person I can be. I found some of the most amazing souls and friends I will keep forever. Joining PhiDE was one of the best decisions I have ever made, and I can truthfully say that whatever I will accomplish in the future, I would not have if it wasn't for this wonderful community.
