MISSION STATEMENT
Phi Delta Epsilon Medical Fraternity creates physicians of integrity with a lifelong commitment to our guiding principles.

OUR HISTORY
Phi Delta Epsilon is a premier medical fraternity founded at Cornell University in 1904. Aaron Brown, together with 7 other founding fathers, founded PhiDE to form a brotherhood the medical field. Today, Phi Delta Epsilon has globally expanded, accepting members devoted to the journey of pursuing medicine and helping others through deeds not words. As an international organization, 96% of our members are accepted to medical schools all across the country.
The California Beta chapter is a premedical affiliation of PhiDE. Our x founding fathers wanted to establish a close-knit community amongst the competitive environment of the pre-medical track. With that in mind, the CA-Beta chapter was founded at the University of California, San Diego on June 11th, 2003

OUR PHILANTHROPY

The international philanthropy of Phi Delta Epsilon is Children's Miracle Network Hospitals. CMN Hospitals was chosen because they exist to serve children regardless of a family’s ability to pay and because we are their current and future physicians.
At the CA-Beta chapter, our CMN affiliate is the Rady Children's Hospital. We help raise money and volunteer to benefit the hospital and children in our community.
